Description
This inked hybrid tea rose is printed on thick, 100% cotton watercolor paper: 140 lb (300GSM). It’s thicker than a standard business card but slightly thinner than cereal box cardboard.
Most watercolor artists prefer to use paper made of cotton (rather than wood pulp) because it’s not only more satisfying, but actually easier. One of the great benefits of cotton paper is that it stays wet longer. This allows for better blending. Since it’s also more durable, it can handle multiple paint layers like a champ. These perks make it more “fool-proof” for those of us just getting started.
Eco-friendly and finely crafted, the cotton watercolor paper we use for printing your DIY Watercolor Art is made from linters, a byproduct of the textile industry. It makes use of what would otherwise be tossed into landfills which helps out our beautiful planet, Earth.
